7 Months Old!

A lot has happened over the last month. The biggest game changer yet, Nolan started crawling a few weeks ago. This has given way to him touching and getting into EVERYTHING. He doesn't stop moving. His favorite things to do are crawl after the cats and clear off the coffee table. Oh and he loves going for any cord or anything plugged into the wall. Guess it's about time to baby proof.

He also got three bottom teeth without much fuss (thank goodness!), he currently has two on the top working there way in as well.

We are now knee deep into football season, we have survived two Beaver games so far although we're not sure how much Nolan enjoys them. He can't sit still for more than 5 minutes so you can imagine how much of the game we actually get to watch, at least there's two of us that can take turns.

6 Months Old!

We can't believe it's been half a year already. How time flies and how Nolan changes!

He's been working on sitting by himself, crawling and standing while holding onto something. I'm going to have my hands full in no time. This kid is on the move!

Nolan took his first trip to the zoo with both grandma's a couple weeks ago. He couldn't stay awake to see everything so we'll have to go back again soon.

We gave him solid food for the first time yesterday, homemade sweet potatoes and he loved them! Ate it all and barely made a mess.

5 Months Old!

I am happy to report we seem to have the night sleeping under control, at least until he changes things on us again. Turns out he is more comfortable sleeping on his stomach and now that he is more mobile he can get himself into any position he pleases. 

We are now working on sitting up and he has started an inch worm crawl across the floor. Takes him awhile but he can pretty much get wherever he wants to.

4 Months Old!

4 months old and growing fast! We had the big 4 month weigh in at the doctors office a couple days ago. Nolan weighed in at 16lbs 3oz. He's one healthy boy and as people say, he doesn't miss a meal. Nolan recently found his feet and continues to put anything and everything in his mouth. Despite numerous nights with little sleep because he no longer wants to sleep in his crib alone, we had a pretty good month.
