Yurting!

A couple weekends ago we took a few days off work and went to Newport, OR for a long weekend. We rented a yurt at South Beach State Park and enjoyed a few leisurely days on the beach, we were so lucky with the awesome January weather! Dan and I were reminded how fun it is to build sand castles and fly kites! Can't wait to go to the beach again this summer.

Here are some pictures of our beach trip and some other randoms for the past month or so.

Christmas!

The Christmas holiday was so fun this year with Nolan. He loved it all; the lights, decorations, tree, ornaments, and of course presents!
Can't wait until next year!

October and November Fun

After our vacations we enjoyed some time around home. Went to The Pumpkin Patch as we did last year. This time Nolan was more involved in picking out his own pumpkin and enjoyed playing around the farm.

Thanks to his Cousin, Nolan dressed as a Dragon for Halloween. We briefly took him Trick-Or-Treating on Woodstock, many businesses were handing out candy while the community center had music, food and games. He didn't really 'get it' but had a good time. I'm disappointed to say he has a very bad choice in candy...

We have a budding musician on our hands. Nolan loves music and instruments, especially the guitar. We'll see how long it lasts but it keeps him sitting still for more than 10min. Luckily Grandpa Tom and Grandma Kathleen have guitars he gets to play during visits.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with each family and after stayed down in Corvallis for the weekend. Nolan enjoyed kicking off the Christmas festivities watching his first parade.
